How do we collect personal data?
We collect personal data from our clients themselves via phone, post, email or in person.
We may on occasion collect personal data of individuals related to our projects but who do not have a contractual relationship with us from sources available to the public. For example, planning application appeals published on the Planning Authority website.
This information will only be used for the purpose it was originaly collected and shared only if necessary with third parties related to the project.

What type of personal data we may collect?
Personal information collected by kiosk architects consists of names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers and any other information that individuals or organisations may have to provide to us as part of our architectural services including voluntarily provided information.  

Information about other people
If you provide us with information about any person other than yourself, you must ensure that they understand how their information will be used and that they have given their permission for you to disclose and for you to allow us and our third parties to use it.
Some information might come from sources available to the public. For example, planning application observations and appeals may contain personal data and are available for public consultation on the Planning Authority website or at the Planning Authority offices.

Why do we need to process personal data?

  • To contact clients regarding their project.
  • To complete the planning application process when we act as an agent.
  • To respond to appeals concerning submitted planning applications when acting as an agent.
  • To organise the project development and execution with any third parties as required.
  • To comply with other legal obligations.

 

We may use the personal data collected for the purpose of:

  • Contacting clients regarding their project.
  • Allowing us to deliver our services.
  • Completing the planning application process when we act as an agent.
  • Making observations or submissions to An Bord Planala on behalf of the clients.
  • Allowing required third parties to carry out their tasks related to the clients’ project
  • Complying with other legal obligations.

Who we might share your data with?
We only share with third parties personal data that is required for them to execute the project. We limit the information we share with each of them to the strict minimum.

We would like to remind you that, on a legal basis, the planning application process is a public one. Thus, your application will be made public for consultation on the Planning Authority website and on demand at the Planning Authority offices. It is the client’s responsibility to understand which information will be kept confidential and which will be made public.

How do we protect your data?
We have taken measures to secure your data and prevent loss, damage and theft. We have as well put in place a policy in case of data breach.

Right of access
You can request to receive a document of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.

Right to rectification or erasure
If you believe that any personal data we hold about you is inaccurate, you can contact us in order to update it.
You can also request that we erase your personal data. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for legal or security purposes.

Website content
On our website (www.kioskarchitects.com), we publish sketches, drawings, 3D models, photos, descriptions, project names from some of our selected projects. Prior to publishing any content, we will ask the individuals or organisations who contracted us and/or who created the content for that selected project for their consent. It is possible to withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (www.kioskarchitects.com/contact-us).

Our Services may use third party analytics and advertising cookies, for example, to help create reports and statistics on the performance of the Services and to be able to present you with content tailored to your interests.  The information collected through the use of analytics may include, for example, your IP address, the website from which you visited us, the type of device you used.  You can opt out from the use of Google Analytics by downloading and installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add On
