this mixed use scheme on the north bank of the lee river has been designed as a new locator point on corks skyline. located at the proposed site of a new pedestrian bridge the ægeminiÆ signals a new link to the maccurtain street area of the city. made up of retail, office and residential the scheme aims to provide accommodation of the highest quality by maximising the amenity of its south facing riverside location. the provision of large terraces and roof gardens for both residential and office use brings a vibrancy to the building at all levels and helps to sculpt the building into its receiving environment. to the east of the site the building is set back providing terraces and an urban scale that reacts to adjacent buildings while at the corner of st. patricks quay and harleys street a tall slender tower element rises to 14 storeys, reacting to the location of a new river crossing point.
